On next thursday april 2, the famous designer and employer Sara Navarro (Elda, 1957) offers in the capital of Aragon a chat about her work and professional experience within the world of footwear in the past two decades. Framed in the cycle “Design and coffee with …” that coordinate the Center of Industrial Design Aragonese (CADI) and the Department of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Government of Aragon, the gathering will begin at ten o’clock in Ibercaja Zentrum. Sara Navarro created his own brand in 1979, and since then her style has characterized by an elegant and avant-garde line of footwear, handbags and accessories. The designer says that “inspiration” to the design grows out of abstract things, especially of literature. In her opinion footwear design “is like inventing a tale or a story, and instead of writing it, materialized in the shoes”. But in addition to her creative work, she also covers corporate governance, a point that will also be discussed at the gathering on next thursday april 2.
